Everybody’s been searching for information on Josh Warner since it hit the news yesterday that he was arrested in connection with multiple bank robberies. Here is a memorable clip showing Josh aboard the Wizard, including his clash with Mouse about the picture of him and his girlfriend he taped to the wall. Perhaps this was really taken from a wanted poster…
Thanks, I was trying to remember if he was that punky greenhorn that caused nothing but problems. Not all that astonishing that he’s a criminal.
Was up in Adak in 94-95 and crew came in from Seattle will full king crab load due to engineering casualty. Crew confined to boat except for skipper while awaiting repair parts. Crew traded crab for booze and destroyed the bridge and electronics. One of them looked like Charley Manson sans swastika. Felt bad for skipper, but this is “some of caliber” of you get for help in that business. Tough work, lots of personalities and big paydays. Greenhorn got what he had coming. Pull up your man panties boy, you’re headed to big house now.
What a moron! The Wizard sure isn’t going to miss him.
Josh Warner is a good man. He was also a good deck hand, the only reason he may have appeared as a trouble maker on the show is because is as edited to look that way. deadliest catch is a great show but it is a reality tv show none the less, the cut and paste to achieve best overall entertainment value. Don’t be so quick to judge, we all make mistakes.
I would have LOVED to see the look on Keith and Mouse’s faces when they heard this news tidbit… The rest of the crew too, for that matter. Like Crosby and Travis said when the Wizard docked and it was time for him to leave, “BYE JOSH!”
